My favorite adult is my grandpa for many amazing reasons. To begin, he makes me laugh like a hyena. His jokes would make you pee your pants. Furthermore, it’s always fun when he plays with me. We play games like Uno or Catch. Finally, he buys us some sweet games, so we go to his house. Some games are “Spiderman” and “Zelda.”. As you can see, my grandpa is the best.

My Most Important Item by Venyce Cervantez

Even though I have many important things to me, my first stuffed animal is the most important. To begin, she is so fuzzy (like a baby gorilla). I always squeeze her. Additionally, she is so small. I sleep with her sometimes if I have bad dreams. Finally, she is really colorful. She looks like a rainbow. To sum up, she’s the most important thing to me because she’s fuzzy, small, and colorful.

How I Could Live Without Technology by Brandon Lanzas Carrillo

These are the three ways that I could live whithout a computer, TV, or video games. For starters, we could read about animals like the cheetah. Other things we could learn about is math, reading, and even scince. Moreover, I would exercise for my health. Doing the incline is a good way to exercise. Finally, I always will like sleepovers. My grandparents always invite me to sleepover and we play games (like chess and checkers ). To wrap up, that’s how I could live without a computer, TV, or video games.

Although I like many sports, boxing is the bomb for three reasons. To start, you get to hurt people. Black eyes are the main thing that people get when fighting in boxing. After that, boxers have to practice real hard to win in a match.The punching bag is a great way to help them. Finally, there are many types of boxers. For example middle-way, light-weight, or even heavy weight. Clearly, that is why boxing is the best.

Every good friend has three important traits.To begin, she would be carin, loving and very kind. My friend would give me a lot of gifts for no reason. She will always help me with my homework when I need help because I help her. Next, she is so funny it blows my mind. She makes me laugh so hard I fall down. Although I like many animals, the dolphin is the best for many reasons. For starters, I like it because it is blue. Blue is my favorite color. It also blends in with the sea. Moreover, dolphins are very flexible animal. They jump as high as a jet can fly. I will always love how they do backflips. Finally, dolphins are the smartest animals in the world. It can hear someone that is in trouble from a mile away. All dolphins swim from enemies. To wrap up, dolphins are my favorite animals because they are blue, flexible, and they are the smartest animals in the world.

I think that we should keep recess for several reasons. To begin, we could get so much exercise. If we exercise we can be healthier. Some might say that some of us are out of shape, but if we have recess we can lose all of that weight. Additionally, we can lose all of energy. We can be more focused in class because we used all of our energy outside. We can be less hyper. Last of all, we can talk with friends. If we let out all of our chats, we won’t talk in class. At recess we talk about what we learned so far in the day. Clearly, we should keep recess for those important reasons.

Every good friend has three important traits. To begin, a good friend keeps a secret for you. My friend keeps a secret for you when you have a boyfriend. They keep a secret when you make our own Facebook when you not supposed too .Also, my friends are very caring to me. Vanessa gives me good presents (like a bracelet) when it is my birthday. She gives me advice at school when I am in trouble. Finally, Raina and Vanessa are very helpful. They help me with my math homework when I need help. My good friends help me with my groceries when I am walking up the stairs. Clearly, every good friend has three important traits.

I would make these three changes to the cafeteria. To get the ball rolling, I would have the walls look as exciting as a lion. The cool thing is that I would put posters on the walls of famous people (like Albert Einstein) to inspire us. since the sky is so eye-popping, I would paint the walls baby blue (with cloud designs). Furthermore, I would make more time to eat. We would be able to do what we want. We would have time to eat and then chat; it would be a wonderful time to relax and eat at the same time. Lastly, we would be able to change the food. The cafeteria would have more magnificent choices to choose from like nachos and mixed greens. Also, if they give us more healthy food you would look splendid .As you can see, I would make 3 changes to the cafeteria.

I can describe my friend Raynna in many different ways. To begin, she has pretty hair. Her hair is as brown as an oak tree’s trunk .Furthermore, she can eat a mammoth hamburger. She can eat a hamburger with every thing on it (such as extra pickles). Last but not least, she is a good friend. Raynna will be there no matter what. If you were falling out of a tree she would be there to help. As you can see, Raynna has pretty hair, she is a big eater, and she is a good friend.

I have many relatives, but my cousin Josiah is the best in my family. To begin, we love football. We both play tackle foot ball every year. Next, we are really fast, like a road runner. Nasty Burgers by Gloria Medrano

Even though I have a lot of least favorite meals, my least favorite meal is my Mom’s home made hamburgers. To begin, my mom puts too much of her garlic. Her garlic is spicy as a jalapeno. Her home made hamburgers are hot. Equally important, they taste nasty like garbage. The reason why they taste so nasty is because my mom puts too much onion. Last but not least, my mom makes them to greasy like lotion. She puts too much oil in her home made hamburgers. That’s what makes her hamburgers to greasy. Clearly, this is why I don’t like my Mom’s home made hamburgers.

In Honor of Chris Tarte and Veterans Everywhere

The 4th and 5th graders of Oak Creek Elementary honor the servicemen and women of the United States who put their lives on the line every day to fight for the freedom and security of our country.

We would also like to honor Chris Tarte, a true American hero who valiantly risked his life in Afghanistan in order to protect the rights and freedoms of Americans everywhere. Chris recently suffered serious injuries in service of his country, and the boys and girls of Oak Creek want to commend him for his honorable service and wish him the best birthday and Veterans Day we can. We appreciate your bravery and service and it is because of people like you that we are able to have the opportunities and freedoms only found in this great nation.

My favorite item is my LeBron James figure. First of all, there are only 500 in the world. I have number 10 out of all. Furthermore, the awesome part is it slams. It looks like it is in space when it slams. Last, the sick jersey says Heat James 6. It has bright cool colors like red and black.
